Title:
ELECTRICAL INSULATING STRUCTURE OF SUPERCONDUCTING-COIL CONTAINER AND ITS MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07142239
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the electrical insulating structure which cuts off an eddy current and which is bonded firmly to an insulator by a method wherein a metal material which is composed of simple substances of specific metal elements or of an alloy containing at least one kind out of the elements is worked to the shape of a nonplanar face, a metal oxide layer is formed on the nonplanar face, the layer is coated with a glass frit and the glass frit is fired.

CONSTITUTION: The electrical insulating structure of a superconducting-coil container is constituted in such a way that it is formed as an electrical insulating structure which is installed in the constituent member of the superconducting-coil container, that a metal material which is composed of simple substances of Al, Ti, Cr and Zr or of an alloy containing at least one kind out of the elements is worked to be the shape of a nonplanar face, that a metal oxide layer is formed on the nonplanar face and that a glass frit layer is formed additionally on the layer. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the loss of a current due to an eddy current in the superconducting-coil container, the reliability of the structure is high even when the structure is applied to a part to which large vibrations are applied, and the structure is suitably utilized for a linear motor car or the like.
