Abstract:

To obtain an electrically heatable automotive laminated glass without making assembled conductors conspicuous according to a simple production method.

This electrically heatable automotive laminated glass comprises an inner glass plate 1, an outer glass plate 12 and an intermediate thermoplastic film 13 joined to the two glass plates 1 and 12 and further an assembled conductor, composed of foil strips 14 and 16 acting as a power source conductor for heat resistances 4 and embedded in the intermediate film 13 from the side adjacent to the glass plate 1. The free surface of the inner glass plate 1 is provided with a decorative frame 8 of an opaque baked ink. An opaque coating 15 of a color matched with that of the decorative frame 8 is joined to the surface of the foil strip 14 directed to the intermediate film 13. The opaque coating 15 is preferably composed of a colored polymer sheet having a somewhat greater width than that of the foil strip 14.
