PURPOSE: To supply and discharge exactly an original on a platen glass by forming a conductive part consisting of conductive substance on the part of an endless belt for transferring the original, and also providing a destaticizing member by making it contact to or in the vicinity of the endless belt.

CONSTITUTION: When an original 6 is fed out onto a platen glass 2, and the conductive part 9 provided on an endless belt 5 contacts to the platen glass 2 and a rotary roll 3, the static electricity on the platen glass 2 is eliminated, and the original 6 is transferred exactly to a prescribed position by the rotary rolls 3, 4, and stops. When copying is ended, the endless belt 5 starts to move, and the original 6 is discharged from on the platen glass 2, but in this case, the static electricity generated on the platen glass 2 is made to escape onto the ground from the rotary roll 4 through the conductive part 9, therefore, the original 6 is discharged exactly from on the platen glass 2 without being influenced by the static electricity.
