Abstract:
To provide a method and device for electrifying and an electrophotographic device in which high-quality images with little image defect can be obtained at high temperature and high humidity and excellent safety is obtained for repeated use.
The electrifying device uses the method for electrifying by bringing an electrifying member into contact with an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a base coating layer containing at least a polyvinylidene fluoride resin or polyvinyldene fluoride copolymer resin and a photosensitive layer on a conductive supporting body. The electrophotographic device is equipped with the above electrifying device.
