Abstract:
To satisfy both of maintaining the ability to clean a-Si electro-photographic photoreceptors for long-term use and withstand voltage performance when a voltage of opposite polarity to the charging polarity of a-Si electro-photographic photoreceptor is applied.SOLUTION: The electro-photographic photoreceptor includes: a pressure-resistant layer that has a-SiN; a charge injection blocking layer that has a-Si that includes atoms belonging to Group 13 of the Periodic Table; a photoconductive layer with a-Si; and a surface protective layer with a-C or a-SiC, which are laminated in order. In the generatrix direction of the electro-photographic photoreceptor, the region where the arithmetic mean roughness is large on the outer surface of the electro-photographic photoreceptor has a thicker pressure-resistant layer than the region where the arithmetic mean roughness is small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
