To provide a battery having high weight energy density and bulk energy density to be connected with an internally buried type medical equipment as compared with a conventional battery by re-designing and re-balancing the weight ratio of the electrolyte to the cathode and the capacity ratio of an anode to the cathode in order to optimize the electrochemical reaction in electrodes.
This electrochemical battery comprises an anode containing an anode active material, a cathode containing a cathode active material and so constituted as to functionally react with the anode, and an electrolytic solution activating the anode and the cathode, and the anode active material and the cathode active material are so adjusted as to exist in the battery at about 1.03 volume ratio of the anode to the cathode and the electrolyte and the cathode active material are so adjusted as to exist in the battery at 0.94 0.96 weight ratio of the electrolyte to the cathode active material.
