Title:
ELECTROCHEMICAL CELL AND METHOD FOR OXIDATIVE DECOMPOSITION TREATMENT OF ORGANIC WASTE USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001179259
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To sufficiently enhance the electric efficiency of decomposition and to easily and safely perform the continuous treatment of organic waste.

An electrochemical cell is equipped with a liquid tank 11 having an anode chamber 19 storing an anode liquid 17 and a cathode chamber 20 storing a cathode liquid 18 partitioned by a diaphragm 16, the partition plate 21 provided in the anode chamber 19 and partitioning the anode chamber 19 into first and second chambers 19a, 19b and allowing the anode liquid 17 to flow through the regions above and below the upper and lower edges of the partition plate 21, the cathode 13 provided in the cathode chamber 29, the anode 12 provided in the first chamber 19a and the stirring and circulating means 22 provided in the second chamber 19b not only to stirr the anode liquid 17 but also to pass the liquid 17 through the first chamber 19a to return the same to the second chamber 19b. An organic waste supply part 23 is provided and the stirring and circulating means 22 has an electromotor 22a, a rotary shaft 22b and rotary blades 22c.
