Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell which corresponds to the working voltage of a compact electronic apparatus to be mounted, facilitates pattern design in a circuit substrate, is firmly connected to the circuit substrate, and attains surface mounting by automatic reflow mounting with reduced internal resistance.SOLUTION: The electrochemical cells with terminals are obtained by serially connecting a plurality of electrochemical cells each of which includes: housings 11 being metallic rectangular parallelepipeds having the terminals 14; power generation elements having leads 17 connected to the terminals 14; and electrolytes E stored in the housings. In the serially connected electrochemical cells, mutual side surfaces are opposed, and surfaces with the terminals arranged thereon in the respective electrochemical cells are fixed to be substantially coplanar. The mutually connected terminals 14 are welded to each balance terminal 19. The mutually unconnected terminals 14 are welded to external terminals, respectively.
