To provide an electrochemical cell for XRD measurement capable of accurately measuring an electrode mixture layer in in-situ XRD.
An electrochemical cell 1 for XRD measurement comprises a container 10, an electrode 21, a counter electrode 22, and a nonaqueous electrolyte 25. The container 10 includes a first inner wall part 11a and a second inner wall part 11b. The second inner wall part 11b is separated from and opposite to the first inner wall part 11a. The electrode 21 includes a current collector 21a and a mixture layer 21b formed thereon. The current collector 21a is fixed to the first inner wall part 11a. The counter electrode 22 is fixed to the second inner wall part 11b so as to be separated from and opposite to the mixture layer 21b. The nonaqueous electrolyte 25 is stored in the container 10. The container 10 is configured so that the nonaqueous electrolyte 25 can be supplied from and discharged to a space between the electrode 21 and the counter electrode 22.
