Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device manufacturing method capable of improving a battery performance at a higher quality retaining performance.SOLUTION: In an electrochemical device, a laminate formed by opposing a positive electrode 10p and a negative electrode 10n formed into an almost rectangular sheet shape via a separator, and an electrolyte are sealed in a film-like outer packaging body 100. A method for manufacturing the electrochemical device has: a step of radiating plasma discharge to a region surface of the outer packaging body 100 to be jointed to seal the laminate and the electrolyte; and a step of jointing region surfaces of the outer packaging bodies 100 radiated with plasma discharge.
