This electrochemical element is a secondary battery having a group of electrodes 10 composed of (a) at least one first electrode 15a, (b) at least one second electrode 15b, and (c) a separator 16 intervening between the first electrode and the second electrode. The first electrode (a) is composed of a fist collector sheet 13a having a conductive part and an insulating part and at least one first electrode mix layer 14a carried by the sheet, and the second electrode (b) is composed of a second collector sheet 13b having a conductive part and an insulating part and at least one second electrode mix layer 14b carried by the sheet.
