Title:
Electrochemistry cell
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6103623
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell having a low internal resistance and excellent charge and discharge efficiencies, and arranged so that a gap formation between each electrode and a separator and between the electrode and a corresponding current collector can be prevented even with the impregnation amount of an electrolyte into the electrodes reduced and large dimensional errors accumulated on members.SOLUTION: The electrochemical cell comprises a storage container 1 and an electrochemical element 15 in the storage container 1, which can be charged and discharged through external terminals 60 and 70. The electrochemical element 15 includes: a pair of a negative electrode 42 and a positive electrode 44 opposed to each other; a separator 46 disposed between the paired electrodes; a pair of a negative electrode current collector 43 and a positive electrode current collector 45 which are disposed outside and electrically connected to the paired electrodes 42 and 44; and an electrolyte 50 put in the storage container 1 and impregnated into the paired electrodes 42 and 44 and the separator 46. Each or one of the paired current collectors 43 and 45 consists of a high-porosity material having pore parts, and the electrolyte 50 is impregnated into the pore parts.
