Abstract:

To create a new material added with useful various properties including electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity inherent in carbon nanotube(CNT) by infiltrating/adsorbing an extrafine structural material such as carbon nanotubes(CNT) or carbon picotubes(CPT) into/to a base material.

The new fiber material is provided, being furnished with electrical conductivity by adsorbing/infiltrating CNT-based electroconductive microparticles to/into a base material texture, using a CNT dispersion. As the base material, although any material is usable provided that it can absorb a liquid, attention was paid to that high absorptivity can be attained if the textural structure of a base material is as finer as possible; close examination and selection of such a material serve as the keypoints of the invention.
