Title:
ELECTROCONDUCTIVE NONWOVEN FABRIC AND CONTACT ELECTRIFICATION MEMBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003227090
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a nonwoven fabric capable of being uniformly contacted with a photosensitized body when the fabric is used in a contact electrification process, having small variation in electric resistance values between single fibers composing the nonwoven fabric, capable of exhibiting the stable electric resistance value against a change in temperature and relative humidity, even when used for a long period, and capable of giving sharp picture images stably for the long period, and to provide a contact electrification member.

This nonwoven fabric is composed of an electroconductive fiber as a main fiber component, wherein each of the electroconductive single fibers composing the nonwoven fabric has a rate of change in logarithmic electric resistance values before and after a hot-water treatment of ≤30% and a standard deviation of variation in the logarithmic electric resistance values of ≤1.0.
