Abstract:
To improve the productivity by improving the continuous spot weldability in the welding of an aluminum plate by a welding robot.
A ripple-like unevenness A from the center of a tip is made on a tip face of an electrode by a cutter mechanism so that the tip of the unevenness is sunk into an aluminum plate when the pressure is applied during the welding, the resistance of the welding current is dropped by braking an oxidized film, the unevenness forms a starting point of the welding current, and a stably welded part excellent in continuous spot weldability can be obtained. The unevenness A of the tip of the consumed electrode is cut and regenerated by the continuous spot welding.
