Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for welding which is used for a mobile jointing device for continuous rolling of a metal material, and capable of easily clamping the metal material and enabling stable welding connection.
SOLUTION: The electrode comprises an electrode member which has a projection part extending in the longitudinal direction at the tip of which a recess part is formed, and another electrode member which has a groove portion extending in the longitudinal direction. The projection part of the former electrode member can be received in the groove portion of the latter electrode member. Furthermore, the groove portion preferably comprises a side wall and a bottom connected underneath it to form an approximate V-shape. Further, racking is preferably formed in the orthogonal direction to the longitudinal direction on the surface of the recess part.
