Title:
ELECTRODE ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6344157
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the converting of physical and chemical changes into electrical signals as sensor, by interposing a specified composition in a conducting matter.

CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising a polymer having an ionic group and an organic compound having two to three direct linear hydrophobic groups or one linear hydrophobic group containing a rigid portion in a chain while having an ionic group is interposed in a gap between at least two conductive matters arranged at an interval to form an electrode element 5. A sine wave AC generator 6, a sensitivity adjustment resistance 7 and a load impedance 8 are arranged. A DC or AC voltage is applied to at least two conductive matters of the element 5 to detect the amount of current flowing through a circuit. The element 5 thus obtained can convert physical and chemical changes into electrical signals as sensor.
