PURPOSE: To prevent cross lines or color irregularity by interposing a plurality of electrodes between a rear electrode and a screen and next by fixing/ positioning them in a container and next by inserting insulation spacers between the rear electrode and them and besides between a fixed frame and them and next by fixing the rear electrode and the fixed frame.
CONSTITUTION: A hole 39 for electron beams passing therethrough is formed between a rear electrode 30 and a focusing electrode 36 in order to fix planar electrodes ranging from the electron beam focusing electrode 36 to an electron beam acceleration electrode 37. Further an insulation spacer 32 with grooved parts 33 is inserted not to touch a cathode 31. An insulation spacer 38 is inserted between a fixed frame 42 and the electron beam acceleration electrode 37. A part ranging from the rear electrode 30 to the fixed frame 42 is fixed without gaps. A warp due to own weight deflection of the electrode can be hence prevented and besides a fine image without cross lines or color irregularity can be obtained because the electrodes do not move upon vibration and impact.
