Title:
ELECTRODE FRAME BODY FOR ELECTRON GUN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS618831
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an electrode frame body for an electron gun with good high voltage characteristics and high assembly efficiency by spacing an electrode plate made of a flat plate with an electron beam passing opening and a protrusion at specified intervals from an opposed end so that the sag surface side generated by press-punching-work for forming the electron beam passing opening can be opposed mutually.

CONSTITUTION: A G3 electrode 1 consists of a cylindrical electrode 11 and an electrode plate 12 and a G4 electrode 2 consists of a cylindrical electrode 21 and an electrode plate 22. In addition, the cylindrical electrodes 11 and 21 are provided with openings 111 and 211 whose opening contour is elliptical and edge curved sections 112 and 212 that are connected to the openings, respectively. On the other hand, the electrode plates 12 and 22 are provided with three beam passing openings 121 and 221 and opposed to the specific surfaces in the press work direction, that is, sag surface sides 122 and 222 whose opening edge is rounded. Furthermore, the electrode plates are provided with two or more protrusions 124 and 224 on the respective pertinent sag surface sides and the reverse burr surface sides 123 and 223 so that these sag surface sides can easily be recognized at electrode assembly.
