Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electrode without any deterioration of the function of a carbon material, even if the oil absorption thereof is large, and further provide an electrode having a large size.
CONSTITUTION: An organic high molecular compound having large oil absorption is baked and a carbon material of reduced ring aromatic and order-less lamination structure is thereby prepared. Then, the same organic high molecular compound is further added to the material and hot pressed, thereby forming an electrode material. Also, the electrode material is obtainable by adding the fine fiber of polytetrafluoroethylene and a binder soluble in other solvents than electrolytic liquid to a carbon material similar to the above.
