To provide an electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having high capacity, making compact, remarkably reducing the possibility of short circuit, and having high efficiency and to provide the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.
The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises (a) a current collector sheet 101 having a first conducting part 105 and a first insulating part 107 on one surface and having a second conducting part 106 and a second insulating part 108 on the other surface, (b) a first electrode mix layer 102 carried on the first conducting part 105, and (c) a second electrode mix layer 103 carried on the second conducting part 106. The current collector sheet 101 contains an insulating sheet 104, the first conducting part 105 comprises the first conducting layer 105 formed on one surface of the insulating sheet 104. The second conducting part 106 comprises a second conducting layer 106 formed on the other surface of the insulating sheet 104. The first insulating part 107 comprises an exposure part left on one surface of the insulating sheet 104. The second insulating part 108 uses an electrode comprising the exposure part left on the other surface of the insulating sheet 104.
