Abstract:
To provide a dryer and a drying method of an electrode sheet capable of restraining generation of turbulence.SOLUTION: A dryer 24 of an electrode sheet includes a drying furnace 31 in which an electrode sheet 10 is transported, and a lower blower 41 placed in the drying furnace 31. The lower blower 41 has a vent opening toward the coating surface of the electrode sheet 10, and extending to both outsides of the electrode sheet 10 in the short direction of the electrode sheet 10. The dryer 24 includes a first cover member 53 having a first part 53a covering one end of the vent in the short direction of the electrode sheet 10, and a second cover member 54 having a first part 54a covering the other end of the vent. In the short direction of the electrode sheet 10, the inner edge 531 at the first part 53a of the first cover member 53 is located inside with respect to one marginal part 10a of the electrode sheet 10, and the inner edge 541 at the first part 54a of the second cover member 54 is located inside with respect to the other marginal part 10b of the electrode sheet 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
