Title:
ELECTRODE SYSTEM THAT IS IMPLANTED IN HEART
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07308391
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electrode system which can easily be implanted in the heart, and that a simple and effective electrical bonding can be ensured between atrial and ventricular tissue. CONSTITUTION: An electrode for the atrium 44 is arranged at the distal end of an electrode lead wire 42 of the electrode system 40; and electrodes for the ventricles 52 and 56 are placed 1-15 cm from the distal end. For the electrode lead wire 42, the first curved part 69 is formed close to the electrodes for the ventricles 52 and 56; and the second curved part 71 is made close to the electrode for the atrium 44, so that the mechanical load to be placed on the heart after the implant can be reduced.
