Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode tip detaching tool for a spot welding machine for easily detaching cap tip without requiring large force.
SOLUTION: In this electrode tip detaching tool for the spot welding machine to be used to detach a cap tip taper-fitted to a shank, shank engagement parts 6 and 11 which are opened/closed in the longitudinal direction to hold a tapered portion of the shank are provided on a tip part of a tool body 1, a coil spring to energize the shank engagement parts 6 and 11 so as to be closed is added, and a tip supporting part 5 to support a lower side of the arc-shaped cap tip concentric with one shank engagement part 6 is provided.
