Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a simultaneous driving of a number of pumps having a parallel control when the service interruption is recovered, by combining the transformers having three electrodes and two secondary windings. CONSTITUTION:The electrodes E1-E3 are provided opposite to the upper limit values L1 and L3 of the liquid level, and the electrode E2 is installed at the middle of L1 and L3. A difference of phase is secured by 180 deg. between the windings 11 and 12 of the transformer 1, and the winding 11 is connected to the common resistance R3 via a resistance circuit consisting of the resistances R1 and R2 plus the contact 21. On the other hand, the winding 12 is connected to the resistance R3 via each electrode. Thus a synthesizing circuit is formed for the AC voltages v1 and v2 which are caused at the windings 11 and 12. Both the polarity and the level are discriminated by the detector circuit 3 for the synthesized voltage v3 caused at the resistance R3. Then the relay 2 is driven to open and close the contact 21. In such constitution of circuit, the pump does not work until the liquid level reaches L3 when the service interruption is recovered, thus preventing a simultaneous actuation of a number of motors.
