Abstract:

To provide an electrodeless lighting device capable of quickly emitting light when re-lighted, and to provide a bulb used for the same.

The electrodeless lighting device comprises a wave guide 140 guiding microwave generated by a magnetron 130, a resonator 150 forming a resonating area of microwave, a bulb 160 generating plasma by the electric field generated at the inside of the resonator 150 and emitting light, and a conductor member 300 functioning as a lighting promotion means making electric field concentrate so as to quickly emit light when microwave is impressed.
