Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep a material to be coated high in quality and to make electrodeposition efficient by traveling the material perpendicularly to the surface of an electrode. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 1 are arranged in parallel in the electrodeposition bath 3 in an electrodeposition tank 4. A strip-shaped material 2 to be coated is traveled between the electrodes 1 in its longitudinal direction and allowed to undergo continuous cataphoretic deposition. The material 2 is traveled perpendicularly to the electrode 1 surface in this case. The plural materials 2 are traveled in the depth direction of the bath 3 in parallel with each other. When the distance between the electrodes is denoted by L, the width of the material by (l) and the distance between the materials by H, L/l=1.1 to 2 and H/l=0.7 to 1 have to be fulfilled. The printability of the sintered material is improved in this way.
