Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the inking to a printing block and the transfer to a material to be printed due to the use of non-viscous ink having tackiness.
CONSTITUTION: An electrodeposition offset printing method has a process forming an electric insulating layer on a substrate 1 having a conductive surface in specified patterns to form mask parts 2 composed of the electric insulating layer and non-mask parts 3 not provided with the electric insulating layer to form a printing block 11, a process electrochemically precipitating self-adhesive ink on the non-mask parts in an electrodeposition bath containing self-adhesive ink having electrodeposition properties to form a self-adhesive ink layer 5, a process bringing the self-adhesive ink layer 5 into contact with an offset blanket 6 to transfer the same to the blanket 6 and a process bringing the self-adhesive ink layer 5 transferred to the blanket 6 into contact with an object 51 to be printed to re-transfer the same to the surface of the object 51 to be printed.
