Abstract:
To provide an electrode, a secondary cell, a battery pack, a vehicle, and stationary power source that have excellent electrolyte impregnating ability and that is capable of improving low-temperature output characteristics in the secondary cell.SOLUTION: An electrode comprises a collector, and an active material containing layer having an active material 50 and inorganic particles 51 formed on the collector. In fine-pore volume distribution map obtained by measuring the active material layer with a mercury penetration method, the electrode has the maximum peak of fine pore volume (cc/g/μm) in the range of fine pore diameter from 0.007 μm or more and 3 μm or less, a fine-pore surface area within fine-pore diameter of 1 μm or more and 50 μm or less relative to the fine-pore surface area in the entire measurement range being 3% or more and 7% or less, a cumulative fine-pore volume (cc/g) in the fine-pore diameter of 0.01 μm or more and 0.02 μm or less relative to the entire fine-pore volume of the electrode being 0.1% or more and 1% or less, and the cumulative fine-pore volume (cc/g) in the range of fine-pore diameter from 1 μm or more and 50 μm or less relative to the entire fine-pore volume (cc/g) of the electrode being 25% or more and 49% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
