Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a steel sheet showing high adhesive strength as well as excellent in adhesive joinability and suitable as a rust preventing steel sheet used for automobiles, house appliances or the like in particular.
CONSTITUTION: This electrogalvanized steel sheet in which, on the surface of a plated film, an oxide layer constituted of oxides essentially consisting of zinc oxide (ZnO) is formed and in which the thickness of the whole body of the oxide layer is regulated to 10 to 200 and the molar ratio of oxides other than the zinc oxide (the oxides of Fe, Ni, Mn, Cr or the like) to the zinc oxide is regulated to <0.5 is produced. The oxide layer may be constituted only of the zinc oxide.
