To provide an electroluminescence element and its manufacturing method.
Disclosed is the organic electroluminescence element including a pixel element, the electroluminescence element including a substrate having a control region and a sense region, a switch element and a driving element arranged on the control region, a photodiode arranged on the sense region, an OLED element arranged on the sense region and irradiating the photodiode, and a capacitor connected to the photodiode and driving element. A photocurrent corresponding to the luminance of the OLED element is generated by the photodiode responding to the OLED element irradiating the photodiode and then the voltage across the capacitor is adjusted with the photocurrent to control a current passing through the driving element, thereby varying the illuminance of the OLED element.
