Abstract:
To obtain a luminescent polymer material having a high energy band gap useful for an EL apparatus.
The electroluminescent apparatus is characterized in that the apparatus comprises an anode, a cathode and a polymer luminescent material arranged between the anode and the cathode and the polymer luminescent material contains a 9,10-di-(2-naphthyl)anthracene-based polymer of general formula I (R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a substituted or nonsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or nonsubstituted heteroaryl group, F, Cl, Br, cyano or a nitro group; X is a bond group; Ys are each one or more kinds of comonomer units and an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, a heteroaryl group or a conjugated group).
