Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an accurate calibrating curve all the time, by selectively supplying a plurality of standard solution in a constant temperature case, and providing a plurality of standard solution cells for storing the liquids temporarily.

CONSTITUTION: A case 21 is controlled at a constant temperature through a control circuit 24. A plurality of standard solution cells 15 and 16, such as two sets, are provided in the case 21 in addition to ion selecting electrodes 6aW6c and a reference electrode 7. First and second standard solution 14 and 18 in first and second standard tanks 13 and 17 are supplied to the cells, respectively, and stored temporarily. Therefore, an initial calibrating curve is determined accurately and readily without supplying the second standard solution. Furthermore, by using one of the cell 15 or the cell 19, the calibrating curve for the different temperature can be accurately determined. Thus the concentration of the desired ions can be measured highly accurately.
