Abstract:
To provide an electrolyte membrane with little dimensional change when moist and a solid high polymer fuel cell provided with the membrane.
The electrolyte membrane for the solid high polymer fuel cell comprises an ion exchange membrane formed by filling ion exchange resin in a porous body having continuous pores, wherein a tensile elastic modulus per basis weight is 30 Ncm-1g-1m2. The porous body comprises polysulfone polymer, polyether sulfone polymer, polyimide polymer and polyether ether ketone polymer or the like, and its porosity is 20-98%.
