Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic cell, an electrolytic cell stack, an electrolytic cell stack apparatus, and an electrolytic apparatus each capable of improving electrolyzing performances.SOLUTION: Not only are a cathode 3, a solid electrolyte 4, and an anode 5 laminated in proper order on the surface of a columnar porous support medium 2 possessing a plurality of distribution holes 7 along the longitudinal direction thereof but the plurality of distribution holes 7 possesses outbound distribution holes 7a into which a steam-containing gas is introduced and inbound distribution holes 7b through which a hydrogen-containing gas streams, and a densely textured portion 8 including a component constituting the support medium 2 interposes between the outbound distribution holes 7a and inbound distribution holes 7b.
