To provide an electrolytic water generator capable of generating a large amount of a cathode water which has a high dissolved hydrogen concentration and is free from excessive rising of pH by using the principle of a bipolar ion exchange membrane.
The generator is provided with an electrolytic bath 1 provided with a cathode chamber 7 is which a cathode 2 is arranged, an anode chamber 8 in which an anode 3 is arranged and a barrier membrane 4 arranged so as to separate the chamber 7 and the chamber 8. The membrane 4 consists of a cation-exchange membrane 5 and an anionic-exchange membrane 6 arranged so as to face each other. The membrane 4 is disposed so as to arranged the membrane 5 on the side of the chamber 7 and the membrane 6 on the side of the chamber 8. A mechanism for increasing the flow-out rate of the cathode water from the chamber 7 higher than that of the anode water from the chamber 8.
