Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyzed water producing apparatus in which remaining water in an electrolytic bath is not drawn out soon at the time when water is stopped and flow rate of the electrolyzed water flowing in respective discharging pipes is not altered.
SOLUTION: An electrolytic bath 10 is provided with a pair of electrode chambers 12A, 12B and alkaline water and acidic water are produced in the electrode chambers 12A, 12B, respectively. The discharge outlet of a discharge pipe 51 is set at a position higher than the electrolytic bath 10 and the discharge outlet of a discharge pipe 52 is set at a position lower than the electrolytic bath 10. When water flow to the electrolytic bath 10 is stopped, both output ports of a flow route changing valve 5 are communicated to communicate both discharge pipes 51, 52. Consequently, atmospheric pressure does not affect the remaining water in the electrolytic bath 10 and the remaining water in the electrolytic bath is prevented from being drawn out by siphon phenomenon.
