To provide an electrolyzer which can easily separate a gas and a raw material water while saving space even in a zero gravity space or a microgravity space, and to provide a fuel cell power generation system using the same.
The electrolyzer is constituted of: an electrolyte membrane 151 composed of a cation-exchange resin in which a raw material water flowing hole 151a for flowing an aqueous sulfuric acid solution 4 is formed; a gas-permeable and conductive oxygen pole 152 arranged on one outer surface of the electrolyte membrane 151; a gas-permeable and conductive hydrogen pole 153 arranged on the other outer surface of the electrolyte membrane 151; and a solar cell powder source for applying an electric current between the oxygen pole 152 and the hydrogen pole 153.
