The electromagnetic absorber system includes a drive device 144 having a drive circuit 190 controlling an electromagnetic motor 54 in accordance with absorber force to be generated by the shock absorber 26 and a control device 140 capable of outputting a control target value regarding target absorber force with respect to the drive device 144. As control of the shock absorber 26, the electromagnetic absorber system can selectively execute (A) first control to control the electromagnetic motor 54 by the drive device 144 in accordance with a control target value determined by a first control target value determination part 206 of the control device 140 and (B) second control to control the electromagnetic motor 54 by the drive device 144 in accordance with a control target value determined by a second control target value determination part 210 of the drive device 144.
