Title:
ELECTROMAGNETIC ACTUATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6088413
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the current during an operation and to stop it after the operation by retaining a stopping state by a detent torque when a magnet stops whereas rotating the magnet oppositely to the detent torque when it is in an operational state.

CONSTITUTION: Assuming that a core 5 becomes N-pole and a projection 19 of a housing 1 becomes S-pole when a coil 3 becomes an operational state, a magnetic flux forms a magnetic flux loop of a yoke 2, core 5, projection 19 and the housing 1 as shown by the broken line. In this case, a stopper end plane 16b hits against a projection end plane 19b. At this time, in a changeover valve 10, communicating holes 14a and 14b opening into a communicating path 13 so as to open a fluid path. When a pole is changed over so as to make the coil 3 being in an operational state, a magnetic flux loop of an inverse direction is formed and the projection 19 becomes N-pole. When it becomes N-pole, a repulsion functions to rotate a magnet 8 in a clockwise direction till a stopper end plane 16a hits against a projection end plane 19a as S-pole of the magnet 8 is attracted by the projection 19. Then, an opening of the communicating holes 14a and 14b into a communicating path 13 is closed.
