PURPOSE: To provide an electromagnetic device that moves linearly and reciprocally in accordance with exitation of a coil by providing two rails to which a magnetic body and a nonmagnetic body are connected in series, as well as a pair of exitation coils that are movable together along the rails.

CONSTITUTION: When an exitation coil 16 is exited, an attractive force between the coil 16 and a magnetic body 11a of a fixed iron core 11, pushes the coil 16 upward in the illustration. In this case together with the motion of the coil 16, another exitation coil 17 moves upward until a frame of the coil 17 hits a magnet lever 24. From this position when the exitation coil 17 is exited, an attraction force between the coil 17 and a magnetic body 12a of a fixed iron core 12, pulls it back along the iron core 12 to the original position in the illustration.
