Title:
ELECTROMAGNETIC SHIELDING CABLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04141912
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress charging current without degrading shielding effects by dividing a shielding layer into an inner shielding layer and an outer shielding body, connecting them through a semiconductive layer, and grounding the outer shielding body.

CONSTITUTION: An inner shielding layer 11 consisting of an electrostatic shielding layer 3 on which a copper tape is wound and a magnetic shielding layer 4 on which an iron tape is wound is so set as to surround a core wire 10 of a conductor 1 coated with an insulator 2. In the outer circumference of the inner shielding layer 11, a semiconductive layer 12 of a semiconductive tape wound layer is formed. The outer circumference of the semiconductive layer 12 is coated with an outer coating 6 of a vinyl chloride resin, etc., and an outside shielding body 13 of a tinned copper wire is inserted between the outer coating 6 and the semiconductive layer 12 and at least one side, preferably both sides, of the outside shielding body 13 is grounded through a grounding wire. Consequently, electromagnetic shielding effects are heightened and charging current is decreased.
