Abstract:
To provide an electromagnetic tripping device less likely to generate a humming noise.SOLUTION: A coil 13 in which a cable run current flows is wound around a cylinder 12 which is inserted by an oil dash pot 11 for actuating a movable electromagnetic piece 14 so that a tripping action is carried out by the oil dash pot 11 attracting the movable electromagnetic piece 14 by magnetic force generated by a current flowing the coil 13. The cylinder 12 is made of a synthetic resin, and has protrusions 12a, 12b for preventing generation of a gap, the protrusions being formed over the entire length of at least one of an inner surface in contact with the oil hash pot 11 and an outer surface in contact with the coil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
