To develop an electromagnetic wave absorption panel that can prevent degrading of absorption performance in case when the incident angle of an electromagnetic wave becomes large, and to improve its sound absorption performance so as to use it separately as a sound-insulating wall.
A foaming glass panel containing a conductive fiber is arranged in a panel-like box so that its surface becomes corrugate. When an electromagnetic wave enters from the right side, a panel face directing mainly in the right direction absorbs it, and when it enters from the left side, a panel face directing mainly in the left direction absorbs it. Therefore, when the electromagnetic wave enters at a large incident angle, the electromagnetic wave absorption performance of the entire panel can be improved. A number of small holes are formed in a foaming glass, or a sound insulating material is provided on the front and rear surfaces of the foaming glass panel, thereby improving its sound insulating performance.
