Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay, equipped with a self-holding solenoid drive part, whose size can be reduced.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay comprises: a fixed contact-side terminal (10) having a fixed contact (11); a movable contact-side terminal (20) arranged in parallel to the fixed contact-side terminal (10); and a self-holding solenoid drive part (30) having a solenoid actuator (31) and a movable part (32). The movable contact-side terminal (20) has a movable contact piece (22), provided with a movable contact (23) arranged to face the fixed contact (11), which is elastically deformed so that the movable contact (23) may come into contact with the fixed contact (11). The solenoid actuator (31) has a movable iron core (311) which is arranged in parallel to the movable contact-side terminal (20) and is reciprocally movable in its extending direction. The movable part (32) is arranged between the solenoid actuator (31) and the movable contact-side terminal (20), and is coupled to the movable iron core (311) and the movable contact piece (22).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
