To provide an electron beam emission tube capable of simplifying an electron beam radiator in comparison with a conventional device using a vacuum chamber and capable of shortening the time until restarting of operation by replacing only the electron beam emission tube when a foil film of an electron beam transmission window is fractured or when an electron emission source is deteriorated.
In an airtight container having a tip and an end, a window frame 3 constituted of one thin film 2 comprising pure metal or an alloy transmitting an electron beam and not permeating air is provided over all areas of an opening part of a front end part. This electron beam emission tube is constituted by arranging an electron generating source 4 on a rear end part continuously generating electrons over all of a window part of the front end part and providing a means for converging an electron beam to an intermediate part for generating an electron beam of a uniform electron density distribution toward the window part of the front end part.
