Abstract:
To provide a downsized electron beam generator that can get an electron beam of a long-time stable electric current.SOLUTION: An electron beam generator comprises: a negative pole 2 that emits an electronic beam; a tape-like positive pole 3 that is electrically insulated with the negative pole; a high-voltage power source 4 that applies a high-voltage between the negative pole and the tape-like positive pole, and accelerates the electron beam emitted from the negative pole toward the tape-like positive pole; and a vacuum container 5 that holds the negative pole and tape-like positive pole in a vacuum. The tape-like positive pole is fed from a feeding mechanism 7 and wounded by a winding mechanism 8, which in turn the take-like positive pole is conveyed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
