This compound contains a compound having at least one kind of a disk-like core part and has at least one group selected from a group comprising benzylidene, azomethine, hydrazone, stilbene, azo, cyanine, merocyanine and oxonol. A disk-like core part in the compound has preferably planer molecular structure. When length in each coordinate axis is measured on van der Waals surface and lengths of (x), (y) and (z) axes are each defined as (a), (b) and (c), disk-like form can be represented by the formulas (a)≥(b)>(c) and (a)≥(b)≥(a)/2.
