Abstract:
To provide an electron multiplier which can be reduced in size and is excellent in earthquake resisting property.
In an electron multiplier 1, an electron multiplying portion 7 housed inside of a bulb body 2 is held on both sides thereof between a pair of electrically insulative electrode supporting substrates 9. While one end 9a of each of the electrode supporting substrates 9 is kept to abut against the inner face 5a of a stem 5, each of the electrode supporting substrate 9 is held between the stem 5 and a focusing electrode 8, thereby enhancing an earthquake resisting property of the electron multiplying portion 7.
