Title:
ELECTRON RADIATION CURING TYPE PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62167378
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: The titled composition curable by irradiation of electron rays, having improved characteristics, comprising an acrylic polymer having fixed weight- average molecular weight, a (meth)acrylic monomer shown by a specific formula and a specific polyfunctional monomer in a specific ratio.

CONSTITUTION: The aimed composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. acrylic polymer having 50,000W100,000 weight-average molecular weight, (B) 10W100pts.wt. methacrylic monomer [e.g., N-methyl-carbamoyloxymethyl (meth)acrylate, etc.,] shown by formula (R1 is H or CH3; R2 is alkyl; R3 is alkylene; n is 1W3) and (C) 3W50pts.wt. polyfunctional monomer [e.g., ethylene glycol di(meth)acrylate, etc.,] containing two or more (meth)acryloyl groups, having no smell, no skin irritation, no danger of fire and no environmental pollution. The composition is suitable as an adhesive for pressure-sensitive tapes, labels, etc.
